Hayne wasn't eligible for votes in Game 1.

Brett Finch gave votes to Hoffman, Hodkinson and Smith for game 2. Useless **** should have voted for Farah.

Not sure how Myles and Gallen missed out on points.

Did Hunt seriously get two points for his performance against the Warriors?

Not that he doesn't deserve to be where he is on the Dally M ladder, but that was one of his weakest games all year.

He sure did Ning. FYI, Manu got the 3 votes!

It would be awesome if he finishes higher that Hayne on the Dally M voting... even if he doesn't win

I think we look at our player performances through the most powerful microscopes, maybe unlike others?

I thought he was one of the only sparks in our attack from a dull performance.

There is only one thing stopping Hunt becoming a world class halfback ... that's his kicking game, too many poor kicks tonight. the rest of his game is simply brilliant.

the good news is that his kicking game is fixable with some hard work on his part and the right coach ... i'm talking to you Locky, we need you again mate teach Hunt how to kick (and position himself on the right side of the ruck in preparation to kick)

If Hunt wasn't out there tonight, we would have lost by a lot more. That is a great compliment to him and a massive indictment on the rest of the team.

And I tell you one thing: we keep on losing games like that and he may well up and leave to a more attractive club.

the guy bleeds maroon and gold ... i doubt he'll leave because we are losing ... if he didn't leave when he was on the bench all those years (and had his dad telling him to leave), it would take a lot to make him leave.

but i will say this, the longer we wait the higher his value will go and the more it will cost us to retain him...

Nolan get your ass to Brisbane and get the deal done. I reckon we could keep him for 500k and for a top line halfback under the new salary cap, that is a bargain

We really need him. Somehow we need to keep Granville too and not on the bench.

Hunt still has a lot to get right in his game but his rate of improvement has been amazing. It would be very interesting to see how he goes with a halves partner who can do something. He has so much pressure on him when it comes to the kicking because he is our only option and tbh it is not his strength.

Macca would make a decent 5/8, though his ruck defence is what we need. Granville could make a fist of 5/8 too. He's certainly faster than Macca and is a good defender. We could certainly do worse, and currently are.

Hunt needs help. It's that simple. The guy is playing both sides of the ruck almost every play. If we don't get him some help soon, he's gonna get burned out.

I feel really sorry for hunt. He literally couldn't do anymore for us to win last night

It's usually the drama queens that do the tearing, then they suggest the same and they become the genius... Pretty funny, really.

How do people expect Granville to become a 5/8? He has quite literally never ever played there. And if you watch him closely his passing is nothing spectacular and is the very reason Broncos have held him back until now, his passing and service wasn't good enough. He is out and out a ball runner who is extremely good at exploiting a tiring defence. Putting him at 6 would only be solving the Hoffman problem with another equal problem

Well he could have done more, he could have had a better kicking game but how picky do we want to be. He is playing outstanding and even with his not great kicking game last night you could never hold it against him that we lost.
