I wouldn't think they would pick him at 6 but at 13 he would be a big danger IMO

They certainly are spoiled with good lock options; Stewart, Gallen, Mateo and Sutton.

They certainly are FCB - that is why I think it is imperative we pick a ball playing 13

We have Ashley Harrison as a ball playing back rower. One of the most underrated players IMO.

And WTF at Sutton at 5/8th. The only two people who should be in contention are Barrett and Campo. I blame the dumb Ch 9 commentary team, whenever they root for someone, there's always a good chance of them making it.

Hmm, I see your point but Dallas has earnt that spot. With Slater/Hunt we sort of have that extra creative option with both those guys more than capable on laying on points or others and as they say too many cooks spoil the broth.

Yeah, I tend to agree FCB. It's not like there will be a lock v lock show down and Johnson is a great worker, as is Harrison, who is usually selected in 2nd row.

It was Jason Taylor talking him up in the Canberra Times but yeah watch the channel 9 team pick the majority of the squad

Stagg has been great this year, IF qld selectors pick in form players then he should be picked if he keeps up.

Just bought my tickets for game two.

Heading down with a few mates, can't wait!!!

Beau Scott? Um no. NSW need all the attacking power they can get in the backline and Beau Scott will do the opposite.

Watmough? LOLZ! What game have you been watching? He's had 1 good game in the first 5!

Pearce and Anasta? Ok this HAS to be a G-Up! [icon_lol1.

Hmmm... At this stage of the season, it seems to me a lot of teams/players are still finding their feet - Broncos included.

Scott for mine is showing excellent attack and particularly defence which will be sorely needed against our brilliant centres.

I reckon Whatmough is on the way back and at his best is as good a back-rower as there is.

Pearce I felt was excellent against us despite a few glitches, and I reckon he's shaping up as a damn fine half back. NSW need to pick a side with potential and develop them. Also, he has a combination with Anasta.

In saying that, Wallace would also be a great choice.

Anasta - yeah well, hmmmm.... But against us he showed me that he is finding form. He made Locky look silly on 1 critical occasion and his Langer-esque kick to score that try looked pretty good to me.

Anyway, early days yet.

Watmough has never performed at the rep level. He goes missing.

This is the side that Mark Geyer says needs to be picked to stop QLD winning 4 series in a row

1. Kurt Gidley
2. Colin Best
3. Beau Scott
4. Joel Monaghan
5. Chris Lawrence
6. Terry Campese
7. Jamie Soward
8. Michael Weyman
9. Robbie Farah
10. Ben Cross
11. Ben Creagh
12. Trent Waterhouse
13. Paul Gallen

14. Luke Bailey
15. John Sutton
16. Anthony Watmough
17. Justin Poore

source: RLW

there are a few selections here that i think NSW would be stupid to make...but none more than selecting Soward at half back.
