[OFFICIAL] Anthony Milford to Broncos

There's a lot more going on than anyone knows, the Milford's and Ayoub aren't reading from the same page as shown by Halo being in Canberra despite Ayoubs chest beating he can't travel.

It's going to be a long wait to see what eventuates from this, if he does go its not the end of the world for Canberra as we know how to develop talent unlike certain clubs, we've got a ready made replacement in the 20s who looks a gun.

I think you might be a bit confused.. the doctor said he didn't recommend him MOVING to Canberra, the word "Travel" is completely irrelevant, it's obviously not the smartest thing to go on planes regularly when you've got a heart condition, but the point was he shouldn't move to Canberra.
He also said he couldn't travel, if he can travel he can move as Canberra has top notch heart specialists there

So what you are trying to say is Ayoub wants Milford to sign with the Broncos because they can pay him more which gives Ayoub more money?? I would have thought the Raiders have plenty of cash in hand to give Milford a pay rise. Dugan leaving gives the Raiders a fair bit of cash to splash.

With Ayoub you can never be certain, he has to be the scummiest manager about with his history, extra money is very likely, also the timing of this and you guys signing another of his players makes a package deal for him a possibility, with him though you never know.

Out of everyone involved, CM, CT, Furners, Gee, Ayoub would have to be the least trustworthy and ethical of the lot, I'd trust Gillard before I'd trust him

Yeah this is just your opinion which in actual fact is worth jack shit. DO us all a favour and go talk with your Canberra buddies about who your club is going to be playing at fullback next season because it won't be Milford.

The doctor said he can't move, not can't travel. **** me how deep is the sand your heads buried in?

I'm sick of this back and forth BS. Ayoub is acting on behalf of Milford. He isn't running his own race he is doing what Milford has asked. This isn't some conspiracy against the Raiders. Milford has done a lot to settle in Canberra heck he even attempted to move his family down there but it didn't work out for any number of reasons. This is a bad look for Canberra not for Ayoub, the Broncos or any other party in this saga.

By certain clubs surely you are not meaning the broncos. If you are suggesting the broncos don't develop junior talent then you are incredibly deluded

His role in the Tandy betting scandal and storm cap rort would indicate he's dodgy.

And Ahearn should be the next fullback, not as electric but more skills

Bushman just answer me one question. Do you honestly believe ayoub is acting against Milford's wishes? In other words do you believe that Milford has said to ayoub "I want to stay at the raiders long term" and ayoub is denying his request?

Not at all, but I do believe Milford is open to the idea of staying, he has said previously he's wanted to stay plus he doesn't look unhappy there nor is he playing in a way you'd expect him to if he wanted out as badly as is being portrayed.

I do believe the most important person to Ayoub is Ayoub and he'll encourage Milford to do what's best for what he wants, the trick IMO is for Canberra to convince Ayoub it's in his best interest for Milford to stay.

So when Milford has said that he will do what is best for his family and when asked directly if he wants to stay at the raiders said "I am contracted for next year and I don't know what they will do" (as in I don't know if they will realise me)

You think that points to him wanting to stay?

What they will do could be up his contract etc as well which would also be best for his family.

As I've said earlier I'm still confident he'll go to you guys but that's dropped from say 90% to 85% with Halo being in Canberra.

I don't think it will get to court that's more chest beating by Ayoub for leverage, if it did I think Canberra would release him as it would be a sure sign he definitely wants out at all costs with no chance of convincing him to stay.

There's a lot more going on than anyone knows.

After reading more comments from Raiders fans it seems this is the way things went down.

GEE: Ayoub get Milford for us in 2014, no matter what it takes.

Ayoub: you want him, he's yours.

Ayoub: Anthony you will be playing for the Broncos in 2014, i'll use the family illness clause to get you out of the Raiders contract.

Milford: But my dads getting better and i love it here in Canberra and want to stay here long term.

Ayoub: I don't care what you want kid.

Milford: Come on, i will play where i want, and i want to be a Raider.

Ayoub: Shut the **** up kid, I own you, you will play where your told. do you understand?

Milford: yes sir

:001_rolleyes:

I've done some calculations, and I came to the conclusion that Milford should play here.
