[Official] - Milford signs with Broncos

But we are on the road to redemption. Through the signings of Barba, Kennedy, Vidot, Milford etc
Others I'll agree but you guys will be very disappointed in Vidot unless he grows a heart, loses the ego and learns to catch.

Lol bushman

Comparing hook and Stuart is like comparing two pieces of horseshit but you seem to think you horseshit is better cos it's been around longer

Regardless of what Ayoub has said in the media. The statements from Milford himself are pretty clear. He's not happy about what's going on.

I have a feeling what Ayoub says on the record and off the record/to Milford are two completely different things.

I know what Milford has said.

There's just conflicting reports, as there has been for the entirety of this saga.

I was just referring to if it happens he does HAVE to stay and play in Canberra for 2014.

He doesn't HAVE to do anything. He has said he isn't playing, sothat's that. They can't force him.

Lose the butthurt over Vidot. He was fine for the dragons and was great for Samoa, he may not be a superstar anymore but he is a good player. Your attitude of 'once the leave the raiders they are rubbish' gets really tiresome

I do not want to see him playing for the Raiders again.

Even if he can't play for us in 2014.

It'll do him no good at all to be in Canberra.

He can train with the Bronx next season, live in Brisbane. Travel with the team, be with his family, & focus on a big 2015.

I actually really like Vidot as a player. He was excellent for Samoa.

He comes off the wing and runs like a front rower coming out of our own end.

He doesn't have to be a superstar.
But he can finish a try. And that's all we need. Someone playing outside Hodgo who can actually finish.

Something we haven't had since Yow Yeh's injury.

I guess the only reason he would HAVE to, is if it was for financial purposes. If for some reason we couldn't pay him to sit out.

We should tell him we'll pay his $180k salary for next year to sit out.

Then the story will be about how the Broncos are looking after his best interest. Paying him to re-unite with this family and not play NRL.

Helping him to get his head right, and not be worried and depressed in Canberra.

What's the bet Halo is taken to the hospital in the middle of the night soon, complaining of chest pains?

I am sure over the next few weeks - maybe even before xmas - that if the halfwits at Canberra don't do anything to release him for next year the NRL as the governing body and REALLY the overall controller as to administration of contracts will step in and sort it out - and there is only one outcome - the kid does not want to be in Canberra anymore than I do and he will not play for them again so the NRL will not allow a young talent to sit out an entire season because of the stubborn stupidity of the control freaks in Canberra - I am sure they will step in and TELL Canberra to release him - do a deal with the Broncos - maybe swap Hoffman - who cares - just let the kid settle down with his family and enjoy his life and football
How come Canberra cannot see that this is the only option available to them moving forward
What the hell are they going to do in 12 months time when he leaves then - JEEZ - Have to find someone else - why wouldnt they do a deal with the Broncos and Hoffman NOW - secure his services - have a fullback for years to come - unless his old man doesn't like it!!!!!!!!!! and settle down a tad

You are 100% spot on. Your arguments are so mundane and boring Bushman Why you would bring your tripe to a broncos forum still boggles the mind.

He's entitled to his opinion, like any other league fan is.

I get that, but really it is a place for broncos fan, his dribble about canberra this and canberra that is just sad, but hey take that moral high ground that you always seem to do.

For me, the irony is a club that has shown complete disregard for contracts, who have a coach who hasn't honoured a single contract in his coaching career, are talking about how important honouring contracts is.
And the Raiders fans come in here and tell us that it's not hypocritical, in any way that they are denying Milford an opportunity to be with his family.

If you can let me know what rules he is breaking, I'm happy to discuss them with Bushman. Or are you just saying that as a staff member of the site, I should ban him for being an opposition fan, who's not breaking any rules?

Should I ban Twizted and Mt. Smart too?

No butthurt over crap when they leave, there's still quality that have left that I'll acknowledge are good. Never saw Vidot for Samoa but at the Dragons he still had the bad hands he had at Canberra and the fact the Dragons let him go suggests there are still other problems with him. Like a lot of players he showed potential at u20s but just like many never made the step up to genuine 1st grader

Sorry mate I'll try and reduce replying to particular comments, i do enjoy talking footy even with opposition fans and hey least I'm being friendly about it not reacting to some abuse I've copped
