Fair enough.

Rebels have the advantage in that there's no restriction on them talking to Inglis.

Some people seem too think the Broncos have already had talks with or are currently talking with GI. From my understanding of the rules thats completely against them.
I would love to see GI in a Broncos jersey next year but it seems a long way off.

gUt said:What could they do about it though? What leg do they have to stand on? "HAY YOU CAN'T TALK TO OUR ILLEGALLY ASSEMBLED PLAYER GROUP! THAT'S NOT FAAAIR".
If it came down to it I think the NRL could tell them to sit down and stfu.
Coxy said:Yes, the Broncos could not, in any official capacity, talk to Inglis or his manager about coming to the club. But there's ways around that - eg, Broncos talk to his manager about off contract players he does have, and just an "oh, by the way, how's Greg doing?".

Also nothing the NRL can do about GI at Kangaroos/Origin camp going "Hey Locky, I'm so sick of all the shit at Melbourne. Would love to come up and play for the Broncos - whatta you reckon chances are?" Locky: "Dunno, I got a meeting with Bruno next week, I'll check it out." The following said meeting with Bruno - Locky: "Bruno reckons we can definiately get you under our cap from next year, especially if Issy pisses off to gAyFL." GI: "Sweet - I'll get onto it."

Mister Wright said:Apparently Ben Creagh is scouting for an NBA club because he has such good basketball skills that are on display each week in the NRL. However, there may be no clubs interested because unlike the Broncos, the Dragons are not the most marketable club in the country and therefore the press related to the signing of Creagh would nowhere be as impressive. If he was a Bronco on the other hand he may be in with a shot.
