NEWS Darius Boyd turns Broncos vegan in bid for premiership glory

He gets crucified because it's an unbelievably stupid idea and he's trying to implement it into the team.

Would be interested to know if they were depressed before they became Vegetarians? Like, trying to change something in their lives?

Also, How dumb are people that watch one documentary on Netflix (Netflix, ffs) and decide "it's FACTS!" and immediately change up their perspective!!! (I've been guilty of this too, but have become more aware of the spin, particularly with the left leaning made for Netflix documentaries)

From what I know Jason Taumalolo does this but for certain days during the week or something, he talked about it a few years ago.

Haven't been keeping up with the news, but lemme get this straight, Boyd is going to skipper the side next year? And all that hot air after crashing out last season, about rah rah rah big changes blah blah blah, which most of us said would only be hot air, turned out to be just hot air?

.....No? Where did you pick up any of that? If Boyd is gonna be captain next year, that makes Alex Glenn's retention look pretty dumb.

No, I don't think so, I think it is more a case of Boyd trying to remain relevant.

The outrage on here at Boyd watching a Netflix documentary, telling his teammates about it and them some of them watching it, is hilarious and embarrassing all at the same time.

I think we have found a lot of the outrage junkies Mike Colman is talking about on BHQ. There is absolutely no evidence at all he is trying to push it on the whole squad. According to Oates, he suggested a vegan lifestyle. Unless he is a Jedi, i doubt he can use some kind of mind trick to turn everyone Vegan.

I dont know if Vegan is good or bad. I can find as many arguments for it as against it. I'd say its going to be down to the individual if it works for them. Plenty of elite athletes are vegan and plenty arent. You do what work for you.

I'm outraged at your veiled outrage! This whole thing is outrageous!

All the Broncs need is for Netflix to screen 'Rudy' and season 2020 will be amazing!

Players saying dumb things and playing with passion is a lot easier to watch than talking up a PHD game plan and getting flogged, heres to hoping!

Maybe I'm simple, but our ancestors have been living as omnivores for the last 6 million years or so. Homo sapiens, who've been around for 200,00 years or so, have also lived as omnivores. It's how we've evolved for millions of years.

My buddy went vegan last year to lose a bunch of weight for a fight. He lost the weight, and now after about 18 months, he's having a lot of health issues, which culminated the other day with being rushed to hospital with pancreatitis. Whether it's related or not, I don't know, but it probably doesn't help.

Yes, but how do you know that he isn't using a Jedi mind trick.

because if he had those abilities he would have been a hell of a lot better than he was this year
