We are definitely playing a weird style of footy atm, ruthless defence combined with free-for-all attack. Compare us to the Sharks who go into a set play nearly every play the ball. Our style of attack couldn't be any more different.

One of the players even said something about it in an interview after the game along the lines of Kev just letting them play footy in attack as long as they defend well.

It looks clunky af at times but as long as the defence holds up it might be a winning strategy, especially considering how many natural attacking players we have. I just hope by the end of the year the combinations are a bit better.

Plenty of their blatant forward passes were let go.

Palasia is the culprit for their 2nd try & the worst thing is he had an opportunity to make up for his screwup by scoring in front of posts yet, he blew it too. Reckon Kobe had couple of weeks in Q-cup. About time to bring him in. Can’t stand Palasia in the team anymore.

Bring in Kobe!!!

You can tell instantly when he's on the field. He's sadly just not at the tier of even Flegler or Marty let alone Haas and Patty. I just hope he's (Kobe) not lost that grit in defence with the injury and time off, players used to run at him once, get cut in half then try and step him or run at another forward. You really need guys that can punish hit-ups.

He absolutely destroyed Cam Murray a season or two ago, was a thing of beauty.

I hate to be negative but that was a disgraceful way about going about playing against an 0-4 team. They take the easy way out every week and try and put the game to bed and it always comes off cause we are versing diabolical sides but they never learn there fucken lessons. They play with such an undeserved arrogance and it looks scrappy, ugly and cheap which is really disappointing this is a team that will get themselves deep into this year off this disgraceful crap they think is ok to chuck up. This team doing what they can do without putting any effort in should be $1.05 to win the premiership if they actually put in a well played game but they are just playing cheap footy and at the end of it note that this poor footy is what they are chucking up and then doing **** all about it week in week out. Nothing will change next week guarantee and I hate to be negative but **** me this is gonna end horribly this way. I am a very harsh critic of the way we perform so I don’t expect everyone to think as strictly on the game as I do but I don’t think we are trying as hard as we can and I don’t think we are playing remotely anywhere near what we can and I’m sorry I’d rather my team be half as good and be proud of there week to week efforts than to watch this rubbish that a group of very special players chucks up. It’s disheartening when on the otherside of town there is a team who play well above what they should be chucking up every week. We are levels off what we should be and that’s great if they pull there heads in, but if they don’t, this premiership crap that gets spoken about every two minutes by everyone but the people on this forum is a pipe dream. Sorry to be negative but I don’t look at that result overly favourably when we hear the same shit after the game and they do nothing about it.
Punctuation should be your friend.

But isn’t…

I dont think its a given we lose Walsh yet. If Ponga is fit Billy will pick him for game one. At the moment, the only 3 certainties are Carrigan, Capewell and Haas.
No way those Cowgirl fuckheads will walk into QLD outside backs.

I think it's getting to the point that it doesn't matter if Ponga is fit or not.

10 years ago I was so excited when we signed Ben Barba. I've wanted an X-Factor Fullback speedster at the club for so long. Unfortunately Barba didn't work (I still blame that ankle injury)

Reece Walsh is what I hoped Ben Barba would be - pulling off amazing plays every game, never gives up, ultimate competitor. I hope he's here for a very long time.

46 points check 12 points tigpies check guys earned the right to throw it around in the second half **** respecting the tigers they are shit and anything short of 40+ put on them would have been a fail.

I hear you mate!
Waking up to a win 5 weeks in a row is special.

Last season, i would wake up and go to work with the shits because i knew i would cop it from insufferable Penrith/Rooster/Rabbitoh fans.

Now i get to go in and mercilessly rub it in their faces.
Life is good!

I cannot get over how awesome our attack is to watch.
Our defense is great, but the attack is something special.
Every time Maam and Walsh touch the ball i feel like something is about to happen, but you couldn't predict what that might be. ( Maam's kick on the second tackle for a try, for example).

Electric, exciting football that is going to give other teams nightmares.

Technically we are four points ahead due to the bye
I thought Billy was good tonight. Can never fault his effort, but he was composed and solid. And when you have livewire Walsh running around I think it works.

I think Mam has been a bit of worry the last couple of weeks. I love him, but I think he just needs a little more composure and to pick his moments.
Agree, I’m not a Billy fan, but he was better last night. Paix wasn’t as good, but did ok. I’d still kill for one decent hooker rather than two average ones.

Mam also had some shit last kick options. I’m not sold on him as the best pairing for ARey, like Billy, the rest of the team makes him look better than he is.

For Barba, the ankle and Hook’s belief every player needed to be the size of a house.
