That last ditch tackle by Hunt on one leg though. Reminded me of Paul Bowman with a broken leg in Origin. Just a guts effort.
The thing about that disallowed try is that's what rugby league fans pay their money to see. to disallow it in such a limp way is a crime against the game. A CRIME I TELLS YA!!!!Great to wake up this morning. Top effort from the boys. Going to go all out and shout the family some fish and chips this weekend, that's how happy I am.
On another note, that no try was disgraceful. Should be fucking dropped to park footy after that effort. I thought the refs were totally hopeless 5 years ago, but they are progressively getting worse every year. It's just a total lottery out there at the moment. Feel sorry for my TV, constantly yelling at the poor fucking thing. I can see myself throwing something through it soon.
Go the broncs
I think the calls to axe Moga are a bit premature. Sure Ferguson made him look ordinary , but then again Ferguson is pretty extraordinary . I think he does need to lift his intensity though . At times he just looked a yard off the pace of the game .

Agreed on both of these, the first one was a moment of magic, the second one the Benny Hill theme was playing in the background. There was a couple of highlights for me in the game.
That TPJ pickup from the ground and then the 20 metre floating pass on the fly was fucking mint.
Maccas ankle tap and TPJs intercept a moment later off the same play buried them
You also recapped everyone elses predictions.Let's just recap Morkel's Pre-Season Predictions:
* Kicking duties will eventually be shared between other spine members to take pressure off Hunt and cause doubt in the defensive line. Confirmed, Round 3.
* Attacking gameplan will be implemented gradually throughout the season in order to keep future opposition guessing. Confirmed, Round 6.
* Morkel to win "Least Humble in Correct Predictions" award. Pending.
Moga's first miss was 4 on two really, hard to stop that . I admit he was in no mans land, but I think he is over compensating for milf. He is sticking to close to him , has obviously been told to help him out .
I remember Justin Hodges having a shocker and surviving. I think Moga will retain his place a little longer.Broncos defeat Roosters 32-8: Five things we learned

MOGA couldn’t handle it, so Mead did the heavy lifting and Thaiday’s good on the bench. Here’s what else we took from Brisbane’s victory.
1. TAUTAU Moga should be axed. Since a promising round-one debut for the Broncos, the hulking centre has been quiet and last night he was a turnstile in defence. Granted, he set up a late try, but he gifted the Roosters two four-pointers with feeble defensive efforts and also made a handling error. Jordan Kahu would be a better option at centre with David Mead a viable option on the wing.
2 — DAVID Mead was finally handed his Broncos debut and handled the occasion well. With Corey Oates ruled out with a groin injury, Mead played outside an erratic Moga to put in a solid first performance for Brisbane. He scored a try late in the match and also impressed with his running game, making 193m off 19 runs. With four tackle busts and three offloads on top of this, Mead did well to earn himself a recall next week.
3 — THE Broncos should persist with Sam Thaiday on the bench. While he is undoubtedly starting quality, Thaiday always gives Brisbane a major lift with his experience and energy off interchange. Coach Wayne Bennett made a late switch by putting Thaiday on the bench and the tactic worked, with the Maroons veteran scoring with his second touch of the ball.
4 — BRISBANE hooker Andrew McCullough is in his career-best form. Always one of the Broncos’ most reliable, McCullough was on fire against the Roosters, scoring the first try of the match out of dummy-half. He also broke Sydney’s spirit in the 57th minute with an outstanding try-saving ankle tap on Mitchell Pearce.
5 — MAROONS coach Kevin Walters says Aidan Guerra is an automatic selection for Origin next month, but the Roosters forward should not get too comfortable. While he put in a mammoth effort in defence and was solid in attack, he was far from the star of Sydney’s forward pack and did not have the desired impact when things were tough for his side. He is reliable, but he might need to take his game to another level before donning a Queensland jersey again.

The Mead try happened because of the Thaiday try.... and using our back rowers more and better :superhappythumbsup:
Heard that, it cracked me up.Was at the game tonight and with around 10 to go the announcer comes over the PA.........
"That's 28 points to the Brisbane Broncos......and to the Roosters fans leaving, your team is eeeiiiiiggghhhhttttt"
saw that. Did you see the big grin on his face......smartarse lolOne of the true highlights of the game.........kahu trolling everyone by chasing the short kick off.
Who was the dick who fell for the dummy? There was a couple of highlights for me in the game.
That TPJ pickup from the ground and then the 20 metre floating pass on the fly was fucking mint.
Maccas ankle tap and TPJs intercept a moment later off the same play buried them
Hunts no try which was an absolute rubbish decision but it was good to see our halves running off each other again
And last but no least, Maccas sweet dummy again. Who the **** said it doesn't work
